The exhibition “Sustaining Becoming” presents the work of Maria Bosch and Toni Esposito, curated by Carme Pitarch, and proposes a reflection on the image as an open process in constant transformation.

Moving away from the idea of fixed representation, the works understand painting and sculpture as spaces where the visible is constructed and displaced. Inspired by the thought of Merleau-Ponty, the exhibition invites the visitor to inhabit an active perceptual field, where what we see is kept in tension, change and becoming.

Through different but conceptually similar languages, Bosch and Esposito articulate a dialogue around the instability of the image, time and perception.
