1925 – 2025

One day, four friends, Benet Ferrer, Pep Sallés, Josep Madaula and Ramiro Fernández, were talking, and the possibility of doing something together occurred to us, and since Benet told us that he had restored a vase by Marian Burguès that had arrived shattered, we came up with the idea that each of us would make a version of that vase and express ourselves in our own language.

This is how we contacted ceramist Marc Vidal to have him turn four vases for us in the same shape and size as Marian Burguès' piece so that we could then intervene in it.

To accompany each of our work, we thought of making a series of free-form ceramic pieces. For this, we agreed with another ceramist, Maria Torruella, with whom we worked together for several months deciding on shapes and textures.

Unfortunately, Benet left us just after making his vase, and so we have continued the project with the intention that it be a tribute to him at the same time.

It should be said that Andreu Segura, Magda Balaguer and Joan Torruella have also collaborated on this story.
