Next Friday, January 17 at 7:30 p.m., the classical music concerts of the Academy of Fine Arts of Sabadell return, with the first concert of the second quarter of the 2024/2025 season.

On this occasion we will be able to listen to the concert Entre Noplales, a concert in tribute to the bolero declared, in 2024, International Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

INDIRA FERRER, soprano
Indira lives between Catalonia and Mexico and has sung in large venues such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Museo del Virreinato and the headquarters of the Orfeó Català de Méxic, among others. She has also performed in various recitals in prestigious international venues.

Together with Mauri Campos (solo guitar) and Carles Casanovas (rhythm guitar), he has performed the musical show “Sendero de ida y vuelta” in various areas of Spain, as well as in Chilean lands.

Currently, she is part of the duo Eva Ribas & Indira Ferrer.

EVA RIBAS, soprano
After obtaining a professional singing degree at the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory in Girona, she pursued her higher singing studies at Trinity College of London.

She has given concerts as a soloist in several towns in Catalonia and has been the main soloist in the operetta El Mite de l'Empordà by R. Blanco. She has also been part of the Cor d'Amics de l'Òpera de Girona and the choir of the Gran Teatre del Liceu. For nine years, she has been part of the Novaria choir at the Palau de la Música Catalana.

Currently, she is part of the Trio di Opera (with Anna Balvak and Rimma Khismatullina), the show Les amistats de Mozart with the soprano Maite Mer and the lyrical duo Indira Ferrer & Eva Ribas from Palafrugell.

CARLES PUIG, piano
Carles Puig has been part of several chamber groups and has performed as a pianist and concertmaster in numerous opera performances. He has also performed numerous vocal music concerts.

Recently, he has collaborated with digital artist Carme Just in several concerts that combine music and images, such as Winterreise or Stravinsky50. He has also cultivated contemporary music and the cabaret show “Cançons de Cabaret”.

He has made several recordings for Catalunya Música and RNE Ràdio 4. Among other recordings, the Catalan version of Les Mamelles de Tirèsies stands out, which received great praise from critics.
