«"Serenissima"»
We propose an evening dedicated to our favorite melodies, chosen from the greats adagios of all times, from the Baroque to the present day. Serene music, "Sereníssima".
Yayoi Kagoshima (Violin)
Born in Yokohama (Japan), she began her violin studies at the age of 4. After graduating from the Kunitachi University of Music in Tokyo, she settled in Barcelona to complete her training at the Juan Pedro Carrero School. She has worked with orchestras such as the Sant Cugat Symphony Orchestra and the Vallès Symphony Orchestra. Since 2021, she has been coordinator of the Classical Music Cycle of the Sabadell Academy of Fine Arts.
Núria Sleiva (Piano)
With a Higher Diploma from the Liceu Conservatory of Barcelona, she is passionate about opera and dance. She collaborates as a musical specialist in cross-disciplinary projects, where her criteria formed by theatrical art and various scenic languages stand out. Head of the musical studies department and head of studies at the Eòlia Superior School of Dramatic Art in Barcelona, she combines her pedagogical activity with her artistic activity as a musical director or pianist in different shows.
Since February 2018, Yayoi and Núria have been part of the classical trio "Avec Plaisir", with which they perform concerts to disseminate both classical and traditional Japanese music and to bring the classical and operatic repertoire closer to the general public.
